TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
