Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
